Do I speak of the Royal Mail's approaching industrial action? I do not. Nope, I pun. Viz: I have posted on UK Workshop again. All for the entirely selfish reason of trying to prompt the woodworking juices to flow once more, and ya know, it may already be starting to work. Shhh, now - don't frighten it away...
That's excellent news, Alf.
ReplyDeleteCheers ;-)

Be as selfish as you like Alf, as long as the occasional snippet falls our way, most of us will sigh with relief that we do not have to strain the little grey cells quite so hard to remember what it was that "Alf said" on the subject sometime when.
ReplyDeleteChas.
She rises, awakened by the scent of shavings and WD40! Don't retreat now, breath deep!
ReplyDeleteSo, tell me, What's the difference between bevel up and bevel down? :D
ReplyDeleteAre you coming to the Bash Al ?
wizer
Ok Alf - so glad you are back.
ReplyDeleteYou can take the girl out of the woodwork but you can't take the woodwork out of the girl.
Actually I read your post on the UK wood forums before I realised you had arisen Lazarus like and decided to check your blog.
Hoo-ray!
I, for one have missed you.
Al - whatever you do to make the woodworky juices flow works for us!...keep that finger out the dyke - Rob
ReplyDeleteThat's v good to hear Alf. My theory is that woodworkers don't have a choice anyway. We can run, but we can't hide for long.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned that you were a little depressed by the same old BU/BD arguments etc - do I detect a change in direction from the tool focus? Another branch (NPI) to explore? Now that would be exciting to watch.
Okay, I give up: NPI?
ReplyDeleteNo Pun Intended.
ReplyDeleteHeh, of course. Silly me; I was trying out Non-Purchasing Initiative and such!
