Right-oh, get you tool-spotting peepers on these two and see what you'd have spotted that I didn't. I'm working on the excuses already... Beware: not all shots necessarily include a problem. Oh, and you'll probably want to click on them for bigger versions.
Exhibit A
Exhibit B
OK, I'll have a go. Wrong cap iron on the bench rebate plane.
ReplyDeleteNo lateral adjusting lever on the block plane.
Cheers;)

One other thing, the bench rebate plane can't make its mind up whether it's a Record or a Stanley.
ReplyDeleteCheers;)

As well as the above the 010 looks bent along its length and almost like there's a crack (left side, behind the tote). The bendy could be the picture distortion...and the cap iron is wrong, unless Record made them different than Stanley (that's aside from the forementioned Stanley blade).
ReplyDeleteThe block I haven't looked at yet...be right back...The block seems to have a "wrong" cap on it...but I dunno.
Take care, Mike
On Paul's comment as far as I can see, the body is Record, the lever cap is Stanley, the cap iron is Record and the cutter is Stanley.
